Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted, with typical package weight ranging from 25-35 lbs
- The candidates should be aware of a union initiation fee of $50, which will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS
- The candidates should be able to work in varying temperatures, as they may be exposed to hot and cold conditions when working outdoors and in warehouse facilities and work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be prepared to wear a company-provided uniform and adhere to the company’s Appearance Guidelines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in navigating and finding locations using maps, GPS devices, and map books
- The candidates should possess a valid Ontario G driver’s license and strong customer service skills
- The candidates should have a clean Driver’s Abstract confirming No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months) and No accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up packages in an efficient and effective manner and assist with loading or unloading the trucks
- The candidates should be able to follow and execute company-established safe or defensive driving methods
- The candidates should be able to record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages
- The candidates should be able to comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform
Benefits:
- The candidates will get bonus $.70/hr

- The candidates will get $35.78 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service
