Propeller Brewing Company based in Dartmouth, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Packaging line worker. Propeller Brewing Company is Halifax’s oldest craft brewery. We brew handcrafted beer, cocktails, and sodas and we like to think we have something for everyone in our wide selection. The consistency and dedication of our production team are reflected in our fine products. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $14.50 to $15.50 hourly (to be negotiated) 35 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time, STUDENT JOB
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:00
Transportation information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
Work setting: Packaging company, Warehouse
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Student status: No degree, certificate or diploma, Full time enrollment, Part time enrollment
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products
- The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- The candidates should be able to perform other labouring and elemental activities
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
