Salary: $25.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 130 BERMONDSEY ROAD North York, ON M4A 1X5
Shifts: Overtime

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime
  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, both orally and in written communication
  • The candidates must be flexible, demonstrating good judgment and organizational capabilities
  • The candidates are expected to be team players, upholding values and ethics while maintaining reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports
  • The candidates should be able to recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • The candidates should be able to supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units
  • The candidates should be able to identify, evaluate, control, and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
  • The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
