Location: Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Work setting: Employer’s home, and Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and free of scents or fragrances
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on meeting client needs, exhibit excellent oral communication skills, and demonstrate excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to various situations, show initiative in taking on tasks and problem-solving, and demonstrate sound judgement in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities, reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, and effective team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
- The candidates should possess strong time management skills, demonstrate patience in dealing with challenging situations, and exhibit honesty and integrity in all aspects of their work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, travel with the family on trips, and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework and cook
