Salary: $15.25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smokers and scent-free

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be dedicated to client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should excel in both oral and written communication, demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work, show initiative in their tasks and responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making
  • The candidates should maintain a high level of organization, be recognized for their reliability, be collaborative team players, and exhibit effective time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, travel with the family on trips, and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, change diapers, and supervise and care for children
  • The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • The candidates should be able to organize activities, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and take children to and from school and appointments
