SHamam Private Household based in Pincourt, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Parent’s helper. SHamam Private Household is engaged in employing workers, on or about the premises, in activities primarily concerned with the operation of the household. These private households may employ individuals such as cooks, maids and butlers, and outside workers, such as gardeners, caretakers and other maintenance workers. The services of individuals providing baby-sitting or nanny services are included. Our manpower supplied are trustworthy and efficient. Our rates are competitive. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Weekend and Flexible Hours
Work Setting: Employer’s home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment and work in employer’s or client’s home
Work Site Environment: Candidates should work in non-smoking and scent free place
Security and Safety: Reference is required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- The candidate should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidate should be able to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidate should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- The candidate should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- The candidate should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidate should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidate should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- The candidate should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidate should be able to organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidate should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidate should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidate should be able to supervise and care for children
- The candidate should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments
- The candidate should be able to tend to emotional well-being of children
- The candidate should be able to help children with homework
