Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Section
Experience: Candidates should have 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate deep technical skills in Solution Architecture and Cloud Computing
- The candidates should possess customer-facing skills, ideally gained within a partner organization
- The candidates should have the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- The candidates should demonstrate an understanding of Canadian security and compliance standards and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- The candidates should have at least 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- The candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience, with expertise in architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- The candidates should have knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals
- The candidates should have experience communicating effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients
- The candidates should have experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to act as the technical trusted advisor to partners, working closely with their technical leadership teams and AWS Partner Managers
- The candidates should be able to provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements, validating POCs, SOWs, new solutions, and architecture designs
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate vision, creativity, business acumen, and deep AWS knowledge in jointly developing industry and vertical partner solutions
- The candidates should be able to champion AWS partners across the AWS community, working collaboratively with AWS Training, Professional Services, and Account teams
- The candidates should be able to capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
- The candidates should be able to present AWS services and solutions to the wider partner community, participating in external events such as summits, webinars, and product launches
- The candidates should be able to share partner and customer feedback with internal product management and engineering teams to help drive improvements
