Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess demonstrating effective handling of multiple priorities, organizing workload, and meeting deadlines
  • The candidates should perform repetitious duties, including regularly lifting up to 25 lbs., sitting, bending, and standing for long periods of time and specific vision abilities required include the ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department
  • The candidates should focus on the continuous development of their skills to ensure an equally innovative service to customers and energetic, highly organized, and hard-working individuals are sought, with a passion for the Tesla brand and the ability to thrive in a team environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers. It is essential to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license in the country in which they are applying, with a clean driving history, and should have the ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable
  • The candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office, and candidates must communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to source parts from Distribution Centres and other Service Centre locations, allocating them to vehicle service appointments. This includes monitoring inventory within the parts system and communicating parts updates and availability with relevant team members
  • The candidates should be able to review upcoming appointments, ensuring they are properly prepared and documented in the system. Additionally, the candidates should prepare internal orders for shipment to other service centre locations
  • The candidates should be able to process and returning warranty part shipments for quality assurance, handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries, are part of their responsibilities and should systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts
  • The candidates should be able to escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with the Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and providing constructive feedback for future improvements
  • The candidates should be able to pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift, engaging 3rd parties when necessary
  • The candidates should be able to play an important role in service operations, offering fundamental support to both Technicians and customers in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy, and providing critical parts support to the service centre and liaising with other departments
