Shifts: Day, 07:00 to 16:00
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer and valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Local

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads, and able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work
  • The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

  • The candidates should be focused on clients, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making
  • The candidates should be flexible and organized in their approach to work, showing initiative in taking on responsibilities and prioritizing punctuality
  • The candidates should be reliable in carrying out assigned tasks, accurate in their work, and exhibit dependability in their performance
  • The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues, and have excellent oral communication skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up, deliver, and transport various items, products, and dangerous goods
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service, providing excellent service during deliveries and pickups
  • The candidates should be able to receive, relay, and record information to central dispatch, maintaining accurate trip details such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered
  • The candidates should be able to assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, ensuring proper handling and care during transportation
  • The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods, keeping a detailed record of items received and delivered
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods efficiently, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, following directions accurately to optimize delivery routes
  • The candidates should be able to perform administrative tasks, handling paperwork and other documentation related to deliveries
  • The candidates should be able to deliver newspapers and flyers to residences and businesses while providing excellent customer service
  • The candidates should be able to sort packages accurately and follow maps, ensuring timely and precise deliveries
