Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Security and safety: Basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) effectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, exhibit reliability, and be team players
- The candidates should be organized and demonstrate flexibility effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products efficiently
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service and load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes effectively and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any encountered problems during the journey
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle to ensure safe operation
