Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking, capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods, standing for extended periods, and walking, able to work under pressure, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, provide personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
