Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, work in a fast-paced environment, and work overtime when required
• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks, sit and stand for extended periods, walk as required, work under pressure, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to maintain punctuality, focus on clients, demonstrate dependability, and exhibit efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should be able to communicate orally with excellence, show flexibility, take initiative, exercise good judgment, stay organized, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
• The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, plan therapeutic diets and menus, and provide companionship
• The candidates should be able to provide personal care and prepare and serve nutritious meals
