Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work and exhibit dependability in their performance
- The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and be flexible in their approach to work
- The candidates should show initiative in taking on responsibilities and demonstrate good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in their tasks and responsibilities and exhibit reliability in their performance
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and prepare/serve nutritious meals
