Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, and Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate, Nursing home/home for the aged, and Staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Vulnerable sector check, Tuberculosis test, and Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and comfortable with physically demanding work, including tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods, as well as handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on client needs and exhibit dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to various situations and show initiative in problem-solving and task completion
- The candidates should have interpersonal awareness, understanding the dynamics of different relationships, and exhibit sound judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities, reliable in meeting commitments, and effective team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bedpans, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays and feed patients
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients, transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, and collect specimens
- The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outside recreational activities, administer first aid in emergency situations, and provide personal care and companionship
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, launder clothing and household linens, administer bedside and personal care, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
