Salary: $47.00 to $52.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 16 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Community or retail pharmacy
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route, and Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking while maintaining attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to order and maintain the stock of pharmaceutical supplies, advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, and check prescriptions for proper dosage
- The candidates should be able to compound prescribed pharmaceutical products, dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals, and ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution, and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals, and other drugs and pharmaceuticals
- The candidates should be able to maintain medication profiles of customers, including a registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs, supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff, and evaluate labeling, packaging, and advertising of drug products
