Salary: $22.50 to $27.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours
Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently, and be capable of handling repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality, while exhibiting meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work
  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods as required by the job duties

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate accuracy in their work to ensure high-quality outcomes and prioritize client focus in all interactions and deliverables
  • The candidates should maintain a high level of organization in their work approach and be reliable team players, contributing to collective goals and success
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability by consistently meeting deadlines and commitments, and be able to multitask effectively, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist healthcare professionals effectively and compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products accurately
  • The candidates should be able to compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams according to prescribed guidelines, maintain inventories of medications, and prescription records of pharmaceutical products meticulously
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas regularly, check prescriptions for proper dosage with attention to detail, and calculate billing charges accurately
  • The candidates should be able to place stock on shelves in an organized manner, assist in developing inventories, forms, and finding aids as required, and order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies efficiently
