Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to standards
- The candidate should be able to perform duties in priority order according to the role assigned on the Role Assignment Schedule, refer all clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
- The candidate should be able to set realistic customer expectations regarding wait times, locate and cash out prescriptions and any ancillary items
- The candidate should be able to ensure customers requiring counseling are referred to the pharmacist
- The candidate should be able to maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary adhere strictly to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
