Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Physical Requirements:

Other Requirements:
The candidate should have a diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant accredited course
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to greet customers promptly and gather prescription information in accordance with established standards
- The candidate should be able to perform duties in order of priority based on their assigned role from the Role Assignment Schedule, refer all clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
- The candidate should be able to set realistic customer expectations regarding wait times, locate and cash out prescriptions along with any ancillary items efficiently
- The candidate should be able to ensure that customers requiring counseling are appropriately referred to the pharmacist
- The candidate should be able to maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary accurately and securely
- The candidate should be able to adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements as outlined by policy and legislation
