Requirements:

Other Requirements:
The candidate should have a diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course, problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to standards
- The candidate should be able to perform duties in priority according to the role assigned on the Role Assignment Schedule
- The candidate should be able to refer to the pharmacist all clinical inquiries, set realistic customer expectations as to wait times
- The candidate should be able to locate and cash out prescriptions and any ancillary items
- The candidate should be able to ensure customers requiring counseling are referred to the pharmacist
- The candidate should be able to maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary, adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements
