Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have Pharmacy Assistant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • The candidates should have customer service orientation
  • The candidates should have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail is a crucial attribute
  • The candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills
  • The candidates should possess KROLL Pharmacy system experience, experience with PacMed and SynMed Systems, specifically for the production team, would be an asset
  • The candidates should have compliance Packaging experience and experience in a long-term care setting would be an asset

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to adhere to all applicable policies, standards, and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to prepare medication for compliance packaging clients
  • The candidates should be able to maintain workflow and the receipt of medication within the prescribed timeline of receipt of prescription
  • The candidates should be able to assist in receiving and perform basic data entry of new prescriptions
  • The candidates should be able to receive and restock medications
  • The candidates should be able to prepare daily and weekly production reports
  • The candidates should be able to replenish shelves with reorder medications
  • The candidates should be able to maintain stock levels and order when required
  • The candidates should be able to prepare manual and automated compliance packaging
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the area is clean and free of garbage and debris at all times
