Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have high School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of working in a retail pharmacy environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • The candidates should be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize work assignments
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to adapt to change
  • The candidates should have the ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time
  • The candidates should maintain a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude
  • The candidates should have exposure to Hospital or Long Term Care Pharmacy is beneficial
  • The candidates should have Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited college is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to fill a variety of prescriptions efficiently to maintain workflow
  • The candidates should be able to prepare compounds, mixtures, and temperature control items
  • The candidates should be able to package blister pack medications
  • The candidates should be able to deliver completed product based on schedules
  • The candidates should be able to ensure appropriate follow-up on minor issues.
  • The candidates should be able to synchronize and collaborate with other departments
  • The candidates should be able to ensure organization of work station and inventory shelves
  • The candidates should be able to maintain appropriate supplies and materials
  • The candidates should be able to have some involvement in prescription information management
  • The candidates should be able to recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
