THE MEDICINE SHOPPE #127 based in Lethbridge, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Pharmacy supply assistant. THE MEDICINE SHOPPE #127 is an independent pharmacy where we make a point to understand the health needs of our customers and their family and pride ourselves on personalizing our care to meet our customer’s health care needs. Unlike large chain pharmacies, we are community-based and strive to provide a family-like atmosphere for all of our customers. We will provide our customers with the best service possible. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t a valid Canadian work permit also can apply.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, and be able to work as a team player


  • The candidates should be able to assist health care professionals, compound, package and label pharmaceutical products, prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, maintain prescription records and inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • The candidates should be able to maintain supplies, maintain inventory of equipment, perform general clerical duties, manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
  • The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment, organize and maintain inventory, help patients complete menus
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products, compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
  • The candidates should be able to bill third party insurers, ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases and prepare medications for clients
