Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer, Willing to relocate, and Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Physiotherapy
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure, demonstrating attention to detail
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of the job, comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be able to perform activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual and possess efficient interpersonal skills, exhibiting sound judgment and accuracy
- The candidates should have a client focus and show flexibility, being organized team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess patients’ physical abilities accurately to determine their rehabilitation needs effectively and assist during the assessment of patients, carry out treatment programs, and develop materials for use with patients under the guidance of healthcare professionals
- The candidates should be able to assist healthcare professionals in providing care and support to patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort, and carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities efficiently
- The candidates should be able to administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, and clean and maintain equipment used for rehabilitation purposes to ensure safety and effectiveness
- The candidates should be able to hire and train staff effectively to support rehabilitation efforts and ensure quality care for patients, and document patient rehabilitation progress accurately and comprehensively to track their improvement and inform future treatment decisions
- The candidates should be able to perform various administrative functions such as scheduling and confirming appointments to ensure smooth operation of the rehabilitation facility
