Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including physically demanding tasks, and be comfortable with activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job requirements
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to select the type of insulation required and measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods, fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
- The candidates should be able to install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials, as well as brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
- The candidates should be able to fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
