Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA), Accounting or Finance
Experience: Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- The candidates should expect the work location to be onsite 80% of the time with 20% remote flexibility
- The candidates should anticipate frequent interaction with plant analysts within the team across Canada
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a strong team builder with a positive leadership approach
- The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and Completion of the CPA title
- The candidates should demonstrate a commitment to driving self-development and have a client-oriented orientation
- The candidates should be able to establish a culture of continuous improvement
- The candidates should be responsible and demonstrate autonomy, good judgment, and a positive solution-oriented attitude
- The candidates should have good knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables, with Power Query being and about 35% of the work is related to end-of-month tasks
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to oversee the financial side of the plant, focusing on the analysis of raw materials and yields and be able to help their team manage labor and other operational expenses
- The candidates should be able to ensure the accuracy of financial information, understand results, optimize operations, and successfully complete production projects
- The candidates should be able to determine the payment for milk and periodically analyze the yields of raw materials used in manufacturing and associated performance indicators
- The candidates should be able to develop the factory manufacturing budget, supported by the factory operations analyst and able to support the operations analyst in month-end closing activities, including volumes, labor, and other expenses
- The candidates should be able to develop the factory cost price, which includes variable costs and fixed overheads, with support from the factory operations analyst
- The candidates should be able to assist the plant management team in developing and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate functional performance and identify opportunities for additional cost reductions
- The candidates should be able to participate in cost control and contribute to building the future by providing financial analyses and recommendations
- The candidates should be able to develop information based on data and facts to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall costs and able to manage the team, including the plant operations analyst
