Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Grade 12 Education
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years of experience in Ready Mix field or related combination of experience and education
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have computer skills and the drive to learn and develop additional skills related to plants and concrete production
- The candidates should have the ability to perform minor maintenance tasks
- The candidates should possess strong communication skills and supervisory skills
- The candidates should have a DZ/AZ license or the ambition to obtain one
- The candidates should have loader or equipment operator skills and experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to understand the Lafarge Safety Culture and ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to interact with drivers to inform them of safety protocols and initiatives
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders, set up daily schedules for concrete deliveries, driver times, and incoming materials
- The candidates should be able to supervise and dispatch drivers daily, interact with customers, provide pricing within guidelines provided by the plant manager, and offer general concrete information while promoting value-added products
- The candidates should be able to ensure the accuracy of the batch system to produce a quality product, monitor plant and truck maintenance needs, and complete documentation of maintenance records, daily reports, and inspections
- The candidates should be able to document yard and equipment inspections as required and work with QC to ensure daily testing is completed
- The candidates should be able to assist in tracking and managing KPI goals and promoting processes to show improvement
- The candidates should be able to complete end-of-day requirements, control and document inventory usages, and participate in the month-end inventory process
- The candidates should be able to order raw materials based on production needs and focus on customer satisfaction, particularly with Evolution Mine, through ongoing communication, providing quality products and services, ensuring plant operation maintenance and accuracy, and ensuring timely concrete deliveries
