Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings
- The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, as well as cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings
- The candidates should be able to join pipes using various methods, including couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, determine piping system requirements, and size pipes appropriately
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
