Salary: $16.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and comfortable with activities involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should possess good hand-eye coordination

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be effective team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, including locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • The candidates should be able to cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, join pipes using various methods, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
