Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer
Work setting: Various locations, Relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in wet/damp conditions and capable of handling heavy loads as part of the job
  • The candidates should be physically fit and willing to work overtime when required, meeting the demands of a physically demanding role
  • The candidates should be skilled in hand-eye coordination and adaptable to tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be effective team players, fostering collaboration and cooperation within a group

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills, remove rubble, and address other contaminants at construction sites
  • The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes, ensuring they match the required shape and size according to blueprints and specifications
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • The candidates should be able to cut openings in walls and floors, accommodating pipes and pipe fittings, while also joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks efficiently using air and water pressure gauges
