Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience in business administration
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time, the flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have training and experience interacting with the public in a retail and service environment, including handling sales and cash transactions
- The candidates should have an understanding of general or post office accounting systems
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to sell postal products and services effectively to both the business community and the general public
- The candidate should be able to sort, distribute, and process mail accurately into the appropriate classifications
- The candidate should be able to provide customers with accurate information and necessary forms in a professional manner
- The candidate should be able to address delivery and service-related issues and resolve problems thoroughly and promptly
