Salary: $22.00 hourly for 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, vehicle supplied by employer, and willing to travel
Work setting: Rural area, remote location, staff accommodation available, and willing to relocate
Supervision: 11-15 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check and driver’s validity licence check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in chicken farming and be knowledgeable about turkey farming
- The candidates should be aware of potential dangers in the farming environment and be prepared to work in dusty and hot conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy surroundings and be tolerant of various odors present in the farming setting
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, capable of meeting tight deadlines, and able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be physically fit with a keen attention to detail, comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload effectively and be willing to work overtime when required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should be highly organized and collaborative team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals and monitor their health
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, including hiring and training staff
- The candidates should be able to develop work schedules, establish procedures, and ensure farm safety and bio-security protocols are followed
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control, production records, work records, and logs
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
