Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Word, and spreadsheet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail in their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client needs and satisfaction, exhibit organization in their work habits, and demonstrate reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to complete sales transactions and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to keep the shop and warehouse clean and perform routine clerical duties
  • The candidates should be able to pick up and deliver materials and provide information on available materials
  • The candidates should be able to calculate costs of orders and complete and process international purchase orders
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records and prepare purchase orders
  • The candidates should be able to process purchases and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers
  • The candidates should be able to review requisition orders for accuracy and set up and maintain inventory control system
  • The candidates should be able to verify stock availability from current inventories and compile inventory reports
  • The candidates should be able to conduct quality control and dispose of and account for outdated stock
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with Canada Customs and maintain stock rotation
  • The candidates should be able to monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks and pack items for shipping and distribution
  • The candidates should be able to reconcile physical inventories with computer counts and record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory system
  • The candidates should be able to unpack goods received and verify receipts and packing slips
