Canning Village Meat Market Inc. is famous for homemade smoked pepperoni, maple smoked bacon, and the large variety of our own fresh sausages including delicious breakfast sausages. You can order specialty cuts or large orders anytime including our Crown Roast, prepared right here. We produce homemade buns, breads, pies and cookies. We carry a selection of vegetables from local, high quality produce. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning, 08:30 to 13:00
Work Setting: Produce department
Work Site Environment: Candidates should work in air conditioned and cold or refrigerated place
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 3 years to less than 5 years

- The candidate should be able to obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
- The candidate should be able to direct customers to location of articles sought
- The candidate should be able to unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
- The candidate should be able to record incoming stockStock shelves and display areas
- The candidate should be able to keep stock clean and in order
- The candidate should be able to price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
- The candidate should be able to perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
- The candidate should be able to operate cash register
- The candidate should be able to order picking
- The candidate should be able to provide customer service
