Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with the assignment desk, reporters, production team, and CityNews national producers as a line-up producer in the newsroom
- The candidates should be able to determine story coverage plans and manage the newscast and livestream channel effectively
- The candidates should be able to monitor items for length and troubleshoot any technical issues while vetting scripts and keeping an eye out for breaking news
- The candidates should be able to ensure that stories adhere to the Rogers News Policy and follow the principles outlined in the Inclusive Content Guide
- The candidates should be able to provide final editorial sign-off before a story is published
