Salary: $18.00 to $28.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 80 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Overtime
Transportation information: Own transportation; public transportation is not available
Type of materials: Steel, iron, and heavy metals
Work setting: Commercial, industrial, and manufacture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine, Soldering machine, Spot welding machine
Area of specialization: Pressure vessels, Factory assembly, Cast iron, and other metals
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding work, possessing good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and willing to work overtime as required, able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
