Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of University Degree
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of three years’ experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a production facility
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a mechanical aptitude and be willing to work a variety of shifts, including coverage of other departments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel), Lotus Notes, and SAP
- The candidates should possess knowledge of quality assurance systems, with experience in HACCP and SQF
- The candidates should demonstrate thorough knowledge of Dairy operations, with a particular emphasis on processing, sanitation, and product quality
- The candidates should have prior experience in Quality Control and/or Operations within the Dairy, beverage, or food processing industry and previous supervisory experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to liaise with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production Departments to minimize downtime and ensure product safety and quality
- The candidates should be able to ensure consistent application of best practices towards product evaluation, food safety, and quality to support and maintain Agropur quality standards
- The candidates should be able to support the operation of the HACCP team to ensure that the facility and documentation are suitable for third-party/customer audits to maintain the SQF/HACCP status at the plant
- The candidates should be able to undertake other functions
