Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as computer literacy, including proficiency in spreadsheets; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The candidates should be able to work onsite at the 100 Parkshore Drive facility in Brampton
  • The candidates should be available to work Tuesday to Saturday, 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, work night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • The candidates should be flexible with shift days and timing, as they may change based on operational

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong background in a regulatory environment, with experience leading unionized teams and managing within Collective Agreements
  • The candidates should demonstrate expertise in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Assurance, LEAN principles, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • The candidates should possess proven leadership and team-building skills, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to business cases for new initiatives in the Capital Planning process
  • The candidate should be able to supervise Production staff to optimize resource use while fostering a positive, engaged, and empowered work environment
  • The candidate should be able to manage team performance and daily operations, ensuring production processes are executed effectively, efficiently, and safely
  • The candidate should be able to support the Production Manager in developing annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines
  • The candidate should be able to apply supply chain knowledge to support successful execution of the Production Plan
  • The candidate should be able to monitor, report, and address occupational health and safety issues to maintain a safe workplace
