Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates should have bachelor’s degree or a college diploma or experience in personnel management
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a unionized production environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have practical knowledge of the administration of collective agreements
  • The candidates should possess good computer skills, particularly at the MS Office level (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage work teams and ensure the smooth running of operations and able to be responsible for the operational performance of the plant, particularly in the development and deployment of performance indicators and the continuous improvement philosophy
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with production plans as well as product quality and able to coordinate the assignment of labor
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the packaging processes for different product formats and ensure compliance with deliverable deadlines and able to supervise the sanitary maintenance of equipment
  • The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, health and safety, and environmental programs, including compliance, application, and updating of the quality control plan (ISO, HACCP, GFSI)
  • The candidates should be able to mobilize, develop, and train their team by applying a participatory management style, ensuring good change management, and ensuring employee accountability and able to apply the collective agreement and participate in factory committees (health and safety, quality, and training)
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team with different departments (quality, human capital, maintenance, and engineering) to ensure the fluidity of activities and the maintenance of the production plan
