Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a college setting
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have a related field of study. For instructor positions, a diploma in Social Service Work or a related field of study
- The candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of direct work experience with individuals in child and youth care settings
- The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of student success strategies in a postsecondary setting
- The candidate should demonstrate knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies; experience in the development and delivery of hybrid and online curriculum
- The candidate should possess highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to provide a full range of clinical and distributive services to inpatients and outpatients within the context of a computerized environment
- The candidate should be able to apply clinical expertise in psychiatry and addictions to provide safe and effective medication management to patients of CAMH
- The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other pharmacy team members and health care providers
- The candidate should be able to evaluate medication orders, develop pharmaceutical care plans, and resolve drug therapy problems, collect best possible medication histories and facilitate medication reconciliation
- The candidate should be able to ensure accurate dispensing of pharmaceuticals in an interdisciplinary team setting, support and participate in risk management, patient safety, clinical knowledge sharing, and quality improvement activities
- The candidate should be able to teach, mentor, and transfer knowledge to students, residents, and interns, support the department’s commitment to education and research
- The candidate should be able to support a workplace that embraces diversity and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements
