Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent is preferred for this position
Experience: Candidates should have management experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and have availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask
- The candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks
- The candidates should be able to hold teams accountable for attendance and submit timecards
- The candidates should be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers
- The candidates should be able to facilitate training sessions for new and current employees
- The candidates should be able to conduct and participate in group meetings
- The candidates should be able to coordinate evaluations with management
- The candidates should be able to determine the best solutions for package concerns
- The candidates should be able to supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely
- The candidates should be able to understand and consistently demonstrate UPS’s high ethical standards and code of conduct
