Shifts: Monday to Friday (3:30pm to 7:30pm approximately)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates should have High school diploma/educational equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- The candidates should be comfortable bending and stooping to handle packages at ground level and to access cargo holds within aircraft, ensuring efficient and safe handling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
- The candidates should be bilingual (French and English), If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec
- The candidates should successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- The candidates should complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training
- The candidates should know all candidates for positions that require driving as a core competency require a valid driver’s license (e.g. Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application
- The candidates should understand that, they will be assessed through careful consideration of their current driver’s abstract, performance during application interviews and performance on any driver competency assessments administered
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles
- The candidates should be able to scan and transport freight to and from the ramp and within a facility
- The candidates should be able to work varying shifts based on business needs
- The candidates should be able to operate in a PC windows environment
