Job Description:

Position: Receptionist
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $18.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should excel in a fast-paced work environment and be able to work effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and be comfortable with tasks that require sitting for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate organizational abilities in managing tasks and priorities
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability in fulfilling their responsibilities consistently and be team players, fostering collaboration and supporting team goals

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, and obtain and process information required to provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to operate a switchboard or telephone system, order office supplies, and record and relay information
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, send invoices, and perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
  • The candidates should be able to answer the telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
