Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Security and safety: Medical exam, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working both outdoors and in air-conditioned environments.
- The candidates should be non-smokers and comfortable with a variety of work environments
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday to accommodate various job responsibilities
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary to perform tasks that require lower body mobility and flexibility

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assisting clients with bathing, dressing, and other daily tasks
- The candidates should be able to collect specimens and perform other medical tasks as required
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, ensuring clients have clean and comfortable attire
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring and supportive environment
- The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, considering clients’ nutritional needs and preferences
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and tidy living space for clients
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise routines, such as walking or stretching, to promote clients’ physical well-being
- The candidates should be able to feed clients or assist them with feeding, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care, attending to clients’ hygiene and grooming needs with dignity and respect
