Salary: $70% commission per sale 35 to 40 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed

Location: 109 2nd St East suite PO Box 996, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Work setting: Private practice
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, and client focus
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, values and ethics, and efficient interpersonal skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to consult with other health care professionals when developing treatment plans for clients
- The candidates should be able to administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
- The candidates should be able to apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
- The candidates should be able to assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
- The candidates should be able to explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
- The candidates should be able to maintain records of treatments given, suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques
- The candidates should be able to massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
