Alberta Neurologic Centre Corp is a specialty medical clinic founded by a group of neurologists. Our physicians endeavor to clearly define the nature and cause of a patient’s diagnosis. We want to provide thorough and comfortable examination to assist patients in understanding their injury or illness. Salary: $43.00 to $49.00 hourly for 30 to 38 hours per week

Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined and Morning
Work setting: Private clinic

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification, CPR Certificate, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work and First Aid Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, manually dexter, maintain tight deadlines, sit, stand for extended periods and also for large workload
  • The candidate should be physically strong

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
  • The candidate should be someone who can judge, reliable and also a team player
  • The candidate should have accuracy, efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral and written communication
  • The candidate should have specialization on Neurology

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician and also monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
  • The candidate should be able to deliver health education programs and also engage in research activities related to nursing
  • The candidate should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment and also provide nursing care
