Salary: $40.21 to $57.78 hourly (To be negotiated) for 75 hours bi-weekly

Location: Nanaimo, BC & Victoria, BC
Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Maternal/Child Health and Neonatal Nurse/Nursing, or Nursing, Other.
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Intensive care, nursery, Neonatology
Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by the province of work, First Aid Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities, Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by provincial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should perform tasks with a high level of accuracy, be dedicated to client focus, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should excel in both oral and written communication, demonstrate flexibility in their work, and show initiative in their tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should exercise sound judgment in decision-making, maintain a high level of organization, be recognized for their reliability, and be collaborative team players with effective time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to collaborate to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care
  • The candidates should be able to provide nursing care
