Salary: $60.00 to $75.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Kelowna
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, and Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care
- The candidates should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician and manage home care cases
- The candidates should monitor, assess, address, document, and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions and operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- The candidates should provide nursing care, supervise licensed practical nurses, and other nursing staff, as well as perform administrative tasks
