Salary: $40.21 to $54.28 hourly (To be negotiated) 15 to 26 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Geriatrics
Credentials: CPR Certificate, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, First Aid Certificate, and Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, and Tuberculosis test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a large workload
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under tight deadlines, as well as under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate and demonstrate client focus with efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication, be flexible, and demonstrate initiative
- The candidates should exercise good judgment, be organized, reliable team players with good time management skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to effectively assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments and engage in community program development to address healthcare needs
- The candidates should be able to promptly monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients’ conditions, participate in community needs assessment to identify health priorities, and accurately address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- The candidates should be able to comprehensively assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, assist in surgery and other medical procedures as required,
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care effectively in consultation with patients and their families
