Location: 50 Hatt St, Dundas, ON L9H 0A1, Canada
Shifts: Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined
Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Geriatrics
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, and Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong attention to detail

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
  • The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within the defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team
