Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Food service establishment
Supervision: 16-20 people, staff in various areas of responsibility, and food service counter attendants and food preparers
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, exhibit dependability, and demonstrate reliability in completing tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate a focus on client needs and satisfaction, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules, be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities, and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
- The candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, determine the type of services to be offered, and implement operational procedures
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, monitor revenues, modify procedures and prices, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- The candidates should be able to set staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, lead/instruct individuals, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to recruit, train, and supervise staff, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, prepare budgets and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, establish work schedules, estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
